A family business
Experience Greek Culture
It’s simple….we all need to eat! But there’s nothing better than eating food you love.
Food isn’t just fuel; it’s a story. Whether we eat alone or with friends and family, smells, flavours and textures can bring back memories or create new ones.
Growing up in a Greek household, I was lucky enough to have experienced my yiayia’s and mum’s cooking. Our family gatherings were a feast of flavours and traditional recipes prepared by mums, grandmothers, aunties, uncles and dads - on the BBQ of course!
In small kitchens, these women single handedly produced an abundance of food that could rival any commercial kitchen. These women were industrial food-making machines!
As a young bloke I took this all for granted - it was just part of normal life. Only as we get older and wiser do we truly appreciate these wonderful arrays of flavours and see the KEFI (spirit/passion/love) that goes into each recipe.
I love all food, but my soft spot for Greek flavours is undeniable. Sharing a meal with loved ones is a universal joy that brings all people together!
So I thought, why not share!?
To acknowledge our heritage and family, we love to share our food passed down and inspired by our roots, enjoyed by generations. From sweet baklava, to spicy zouzoukakia (saucy meatballs), join us at the table!
With Kefi!
